i'm one of those who grew up on dbz and pokemon who's never seen akira. i heard it's amazing tho.

The usual ones like Naruto, One Piece and Detective Conan. Sometimes I'll randomly watch a show I've heard about. Recently watched Bakemonogatari and thought it was interesting. Angel Beats started off well but the last few eps were really boring.

Oh and Gundam shows are always excellent.
