I was just talking about our last two WR 2nd round draft picks from SC havent exactly worked out.

Oh I know, I was just saying we should have the opportunity to draft several USC wideouts in the coming years....

so, i see alot of debate over this kid, and some old bio stiff and some stuff fox said. that isnt exactly what the guy was asking for i dont think. has no one from camp even see this guy run a route? catch a pass? drop a pass? return a kick? get yelled at? does he look fast? is he lined up with the 3's? has he taken a dump? im has no one even seen the guy at camp at all?

Since the feeling is that Gettis would be signed readily by another team if he doesn't make the roster, do you think the same would happen to Jarrett?

I saw that, and it's discouraging, but Gantt failed to mention that Gettis caught a nice touchdown pass prior to that, as noted by forum poster Jackofalltrades on Twitter.

Nice deep TD from Cantwell to Gettis over Wilson. Gettis used that second gear.

I'm not making excuses for the guy, but I think this is the sort of the thing the Panthers probably expected when they drafted him. He's a project.

Certainly, if we cut him he would get picked up. He is still very young and in an offense that throws a lot i.e. Colts, Cards etc he would be a very nice target on third downs and in the redzone (he's already demonstrated the 3rd down ability during his time here, and he's demonstrated the redzone threat time and again during practice). I really hope we get the chance to see Dwayne get some redzone looks during the preseason....
