Jevan Snead gets cut from the Bucs

I know hes an adult, but it seems like someone around him could have done a better job to convince him that it was a horrible idea to come out.

It is indeed sad but I called it long ago on the Jaguars official message board. I predicted Clausen ( who at the time was supposed to be the 7th best draft eligible QB last year before the season started ) would greatly improve his stock and surprise a lot of people, and that Snead, who people were so high on they said he may be the first QB off the board, wouldn't be a first rounder. Little did I know he would drop as far as he did.

He didn't seem like a good decision maker, either. He went to Texas where he lost to McCoy in competition, transferred out rather than fight for a spot, had one decent season with Mike Wallace at WR and Mike Oher on the line and thought he was the next big thing. His team was ranked 4th to start last season and I believe ended unranked. He threw just as many TDs as INTs and still decides to enter the draft? Looks like he historically makes poor decisions on and off the football field.

He likely had poor advice around him but the truth is he has nobody to blame but himself. UFL/CFL here he comes.
