True. I think how insane contracts have gotten over the years, especially with rookies, is one of the biggest problems with the league. It's only a matter of time before they step in and create regulations on what money rookies can make, like they do in the NBA.

I know careers in the NFL are short and plays want to make all they can, but if the league wants to grow, they'll need competition and contracts like this hurt the system.

On the flip side, I'd like to see a breakdown of this contract. A lot of times people look at the lump sum, not the year to year breakdown. I've seen contracts where a guy is suppose to earn $5 million the first year of the contact, $7 the next and by the third, $10 million. Well, come the third year, if he isn't producing on a ten million dollar level, he's cut! That's the way it works.

I'd like to know what percentage of players collect on 100% of a contract? I'd go with 0%! haha
