They won't fix it completely. They will just have to upgrade where they can and fill gaps with replacement level players until they can draft a starter to replace them.

If the Defense isn’t leaps and bounds better this year, there’s no way Evero survives.

There are 29 teams trying to sign the exact same players, the activity is there sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I cannot understand how he survived last season. I'm not a fan of his by any means. I've never liked his defense and do not expect it to be better this season. So given any upgrades I doubt it will be that much improved. I hope I'm wrong because improving the defense will have the biggest improvement to our win totals this coming season.

I would personally like some more speed at WR.  Hardman and\or Elijah Moore please.  Hardman can return kicks as well. Both should be cheap

The Giants are signing DT Roy Robertson-Harris, per source. It's a two-year deal worth $10 million. Adding defensive line depth was imperative.

The Jaguars have agreed to terms with G/T Chuma Edoga on a two-year deal, per a league source. Has started 23 games in six seasons with New York Jets, Atlanta and Dallas.
