Source: DT Allen to visit Vikings

A source tells ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen plans to visit the Minnesota Vikings.

 

Allen was released by the Washington Commanders on Friday after spending eight years with the organization. He had 19 tackles and three sacks in 2024.

There has not been significant movement towards a new deal between the Eagles and OL Mekhi Becton to this point, from what I gather. He has a key advocate in OL coach Jeff Stoutland and would like to return but the money has to be right on both sides. Becton will have a chance to test the market. -- Tim McManus, Eagles reporter

The unofficial start of free agency is just five minutes away. Last year, we saw the biggest free agent (Kirk Cousins) go off the market within the first two hours of the tampering period, so it will be interesting so see if the quarterbacks once again go quickly this year.

ESPN FA tracker.  Latest updates are just scheduled visits.  Nobody linked to the Panthers yet.

The Chargers have released running back Gus Edwards. Edwards played 11 games for Los Angeles this past season, recording 365 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
