Shortly after being released by the 49ers, DT Maliek Collins reached agreement with the Cleveland Browns on a two-year, $20 million deal that includes $13 million fully guaranteed. Deal negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus.

Rams now officially have released WR Cooper Kupp. They are designating Cooper Kupp as a post-June 1 cut, keeping his $29.78M cap hit until June. At that point, they will take on dead cap hits of $14.78M in 2025 and $7.48M in 2026 while creating $15M in cap space.

Not sure how different of a WR he would be compared to Theilen, but would love to see us land him even though it's highly unlikely.

That seems to run counter to the youth movement overall. But, we have taken swings at bigger targets(possibly still doing so) so perhaps we kick the tires as a consolation?

I generally think the issue will likely be that we will have to pay significantly above market for him to have interest. Which, TBD what that actual market value is.

I'm not sure what the point of adding Kupp would be. We basically already have him on the roster with Thielen.

If he were 5 years younger, absolutely. But I'm not sure it's the move now.

The #Giants are re-signing WR/KR Ihmir Smith-Marsette to a one-year deal, per source. Returned a punt for a TD and impressed as a returner last season for New York.

Still need FS1 + FS2 and could stand to grab another WR, RB, TE, and CB.

All in all tho... not a bad step up to start this season from what the team ended with last season.
