Cleveland restructured Watson again.  He's still too expensive to jettison, so if healthy, he's probably still their starter. Tennessee could run it back with Levis if no reasonable upgrade. I only see the Giants and Pittsburgh at this point going all-in on a FA QB.  Giants are looking to the draft most likely leaving Rodgers to the Steelers.

Look at the cap hit next year. Lol....he will get restructured again.

They are kinda forced to be active. The defense is so bad that they cannot afford to sit on their hands this offseason.

This is the Panthers you're talking about, so yeah, I could see them deciding they've done enough and will make do with the draft. Then they'll say they were outbid by others.

This is the sort of deal Tremble should have gotten

he's 30 years old and has 540 career yards in 8 seasons.

nice reach but he and tremble are literally not the same. this deal makes tremble (when you factor in the guarantees and the structure combined with tremble's age and upside) look pretty decent

Not really. It just shows that the Jacksonville FO is just as incompetent as the Panthers'.

If the Defense isn’t leaps and bounds better this year, there’s no way Evero survives.

TBH, I am not sure "leaps and bounds better" is actually achievable in just one offseason. If we move towards the upper end of the bottom 10 defenses, I would consider that adequate progress overall.

Quite a bit more building in store for the next couple of offseasons.

So far, Jaycee Horn extended and Trevon Moehrig snagged. Got CB1 + SS.

Still some solid DTs out there even after missing out on Williams who wanted DB money without the production. Sounds like there's another bidding war taking place but for Jevon Holland.

Pretty exciting start to the legal tampering period. 😮

    • Reading tea leaves:  The draft is pretty solid at DT (3-4 DE).  I don't think Wharton, and Brown change the fact that we could draft one. Pat Jones does not eliminate a need at Edge. I think we will draft a pure pass rusher.  We are still razor thin at CB.  Getting Jackson back was huge for us, however.  I am not sure how much they like Evans and Bartholomew, but both (especially Evans) played pretty well down the stretch.  Good enough depth?  Conspiracy theory:  Draft Will Johnson and play Jackson at nickel.  It seems to me that we now have 2 Strong Safeties.  We need a free safety or two. I heard nothing about TE or WR today.  Does that mean we will draft those positions?  I really like about 4 Tight Ends in this draft, maybe 5.  WR?  I think the draft is more of a gamble, but I am wondering about TMac right now. The focus in free agency on defense makes sense.  Evero has types and in free agency, you can match a skill set to your needs with more precision than the draft.  The focus was on stopping the run, and with the exception of Wharton, every defensive player excels in that area. Pass rush is still a concern, imo.
    • If McMillan played for Purdue, no one on here would be interested in him.
    • So with cap space, Jaycee’s deal created 9m in space, Tuttle restructure created 3m in space.    need to see the first year of each deal to see where they stand. Team had around 29-30m in space for today’s deals.
