Tremble missed time in the middle of the season due to a concussion and a back injury, but that didn’t stop him from improving upon his early season grade. The fourth-year tight end caught 14 of 17 targets thrown his way in the second half of the season for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and his 6.2 yards after the catch per reception was 19th among tight ends.

This is probably the reasoning in the re-signing along with being a good locker room guy

So, I take it we are gonna pass on a TE in one of the deepest TE drafts in recent memory.

All the Warren stans might need to pour a stiff on tonight.

So if Tommy Tremble was a 1st round pick and that pick was in the top ten, this is like picking up his 5th-year option.....  The Ian Thomas curse continues

I’m honestly not concerned

Depending on the terms, if this is $8 mil guaranteed over 2 years, the bulk of the remaining $8 mil could be voidable. 

And with the increase in cap, so factor in the proportional increase per room, this could be structured for basically just paying him 5-6mil per over two years if he doesn’t turn out. So if nothing blossoms, it’s marginal, but we know his floor. Totally respectable TE2. He’s like a Trey Burton IMO but is still just like 24 or something.

 So, if nothing blossoms, with just that guaranteed, if we need room, 2026 cap room could get cleared easily. 

 I often wonder how he would be doing if we didn’t have the worst passing game in the NFL from 2021 until the final 6 games of last year. He always makes noise when given the chance. It’s whatever.

With this years decently sized cap increase, anticipate slightly higher contracts than you’re used to.

Still, a strong deal for T2 with plenty of room to grow his paycheck.

Seems to have the most chemistry with Bryce out of all the TEs but Sanders ceiling is so much higher

JT Sanders is on year 2 of a 4th round rookie deal also.

Not bad resource allocation at all IMHO.

The TE market is bone-thin. And Tremble has shown far more promise than Ian Tomas ever did.

Tremble is by all accounts and incredible teammate and hopefully an ascending player.

I think him and Sanders and a decent young TE pair, and i still think we add another TE either FA or the draft
