For all the defenders of this move, I hope you do realize that Tremble is now the 16th highest AAV TE contract in the NFL.

For a guy that is not a top 50 NFL TE.

This is my hope. Maybe it seems better once the details come out. Right now, it sounds stupid.

It's a 2-year deal with low guarantees that we could probably get out of next year if we really wanted to. Tremble is a young TE whose and excellent blocker and still has some receiving upside I'm ok with the deal. The total number is slightly high but I'm sure it's got some incentives in there that we'd be overly excited if Tremble reached them.
