Neither are what a professional football offense should have. I thought with Canales here we'd actually prioritize finding a good TE

I'm fine with him as a #3 or even emergency #2 of we can't land an upgrade. But there's no fuging way you give that guy $16M before open free agency. The rest of the league is laughing knowing there will be a lot of better guys who will soon sign for less.

No issue with bringing him back. The FA TE pool is garbage. I was thinking Mark Andrews would get released but doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen 

our WR/TE group is in dire need of a top guy in each group that we currently don’t have on our roster

At the very least we need either a true WR1 or TE1 this offseason

This isn’t a bad signing at all for 8 mil guaranteed. I think we will see more production from Tremble this year, and he’s still very young. Cap is going way up, and Dave Canales mentioned Tremble specifically as someone he wanted back on the team. I trust in our coaches judgement based on the improvements we made last season.
