Yeah but it seems like we have more injuries than most teams

We are relatively comparable to the rest of the NFL was far as injury percentages. Most fans always seem to believe that their team is the "most injured team" but thats just a simple by product of being a fan. You follow every player on the panthers and therefore have a working knowledge of every injury and how it affects the team. Most fans only remember the big name injuries from other players outside of their home team, especially ones outside of the division.

who was the backup mlb?

Most likely Beason would move back to MLB and Jamar Williams would take his place at WLB. Anderson also has experience there. After that you're into the Special Teamers like Ivy, Senn and Culberson. If we got that far down on our depth chart, I think they'd sign somebody with experience to fill in.

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS: RBs coach Jim Skipper was heard screaming at his guys after they failed to do one particular drill correctly.

“We’re looking to win a Super Bowl here guys, not the (darn) Pop Warner Optimist Bowl!,” Skipper said.

WHO IMPRESSED: Backup LB and special teams player Jordan Senn was Senn-sational in the morning session, delivering two big hits including one that dislodged the helmet from rookie FB Rashawn Jackson.

Also, WR Charly Martin made a pair of nice grabs and WR Kenneth Moore, who ran with the ones, also looked sharp

“Like my coach says, this league has turned into a three-receiver league, so he’s going to have three good corners. I’m the third corner right now,” Munnerlyn said. “I’m pushing the guys that are in front of me because I want to start, too. It’s not like I’m content with being the third corner. I want to be that guy, too.”

Munnerlyn said it’s nice having a veteran with USC ties in the locker room.
