the consensus ruled the day... the kid new he needed to get to camp on time... the panthers knew they got a steal in the draft and couldn't nickel and dime him.... fourth year escalater.... everybody happy.

Darin Gantt says a total deal of around 6.5-6.9 for four years, Florio says it is about 2.5 per year and could escalate to 2.8 if he is the starter.

No official numbers though.

The price paid is respectible, the opportunities tremendous and he's with a team that has a fresh start as its identity. Let's hope it is for a winning season. It is our cycle year.
