QB ideas that fans should abandon

he signed a one year deal with the Steelers, so how is he not a free agent?

well yes but he's restricted and he'll most likely get tendered

And yes, Big Ben sucks balls

that's an interesting opinion you have there, the way it's not backed up by results, statistics, or overwhelming observable evidence.

I would draft a QB with the second round pick next year. Jake is your starter next year, and this kid watches and learns how a quarterback leads his team. Besides, Panthers dodged a bullet this year with Jake avoiding injury. If they don't get quite so lucky next year, they have someone worthy.

"dodged a bullet", only to be stabbed in the heart, do you wanna know why the nfc south was so up and down? we have the best team/worst quarterbacking in the whole division, take any of the other 3 qbs and we're probaly still playing next week.

Even rookie Matt Ryan didnt look as bad as Jake did, when the Cardinals forced him to beat them.

Stats are for losers right???

I have to watch 16 Steelers games a season so I am basing that on what I've actually seen, week in and week out. Yes, he has his good games, tonight being one of them. But he also has to be bailed out by the defense and throws stupid passes, stays in the pocket too long and gives up way too many sacks, and fumbles more than any other QB....

if your biggest gripe is that he stays in the pocket too long and takes a lot of sacks, then surely the answer is to put in a slower, less mobile qb with a slower release!

my gripe has nothing to do with his protection, he has a ton of time but still doesn't get rid of it, or protect the ball.

I've watched them both play with the same supporting cast and Leftwich looked better.

do you know what it takes to be a RFA???

He's been in too long to be a RFA, therefore yes, he is available

im almost positive you're wrong but I can't find anything that says so either way so whatev

i agree those 36 passes he threw over 4 games really paint an accurate picture.
