Whatever you do, don’t try and take a seat from an eager fan at Comic-Con. Things could get vicious.

E! Online reports a man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the face with a pen. He was taken out of the San Diego Convention Center yesterday on a stretcher and suffered a minor cut near his eyelid. The assailant was escorted out of the convention center’s H Hall in plastic restraints. He was arrested and charged for assault with a deadly weapon. The victim’s blood was splattered on his free Harry Potter Comic-Con t-shirt that was given out earlier at the convention.

According to USA Today, a fellow attendee held the attacker back before security arrived. As of now, the identities of the men have not been released, but witnesses say the two are in their mid-twenties.

The argument was over a seat in the center of the auditorium just a few minutes before Universal Pictures’ panels were to take place. The presentations for Paul (featuring Seth Rogan) and Cowboys and Aliens were delayed about twenty minutes because of the scuffle. When it was time to take the stage, Harrison Ford showed up in handcuffs for the Cowboys and Aliens panel.
