I'm going to approach this season the way I do Will Ferrell movies.

Old School, Talladega Nights, Anchorman and Step Brothers are all amazing films. Our season will probably be as good as a marathon of all those movies. In other words, we're going to win the Super Bowl.

Dad, we're men. That means a few things, we like to poo with the door open, we talk about pus sy, we go on riverboat gambling trips, and we make our own beef jerky. That's what we do, and now that is all wrecked.

Suppose Nancy sees me coming out of the shower and decides to come on to me. I'm looking good, got a luscious v of hair going through my chest pubes down to my ball fro. She takes one look at me and goes " Oh my god, I've had the old bull now I want the young calf" and she grabs me by the weiner.

I don't expect anything in the sense that I don't know what is going to happen, not in the "This is going to suck" sense you are promoting.

ZERO expectations. I mean it. With Will's movies I know I'm not going to get a Brando or Depp like performance. Stunts like Jackie Chan. Depth like Hanks or twists like M Night.

I check that at the door, get a small popcorn(no butter) and a Cherry Icee Slush and party on rock star.

So ima(as the young kids say) gonna do the same with the Panthers. They cleaned house, well by God so am I. New slate for me too.

I'm even gonna have to buy a program for the first time since 96 just see see who these cats are and even learn their bio's cold. Forget coming up with a nickname for the D Line. This guy just wants to be able to name a guy playing NT.

Do yourself a favor and join me on my popcorn movie quest for this season and ride the wave of zero expectations and tons of fun.

Think about those roadtrips where you didn't have things all planned out and junk. You just got in your car and drove. And you had a friggin blast.

i like the way that sounds, and i hear you man.. just how well i will be able to do it once they start the season is another thing. especially if we are playing the cowboys or falcons or some one else with annoying fans. but i do get what you are saying, and i think we should all try to be that way this year.
