Chad Ochocinco-WR- Bengals Jul. 24 - 9:27 am et

Although Bengals QB Carson Palmer recently worked out with free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, no deal is imminent. Regardless, Chad Ochocinco wrote via Twitter that "i am so excited for training camp, especially since Batman is coming to join me."

Quite a display of deference that Ochocinco considers himself "Robin" to Owens' "Batman". Regardless of Ochocinco's aggressive tweets, Bengals owner Mike Brown is calling the shots as to whether or not the team takes a chance on T.O.

Carson Palmer might as well buy stock in Tylenol if he's wants the biggest prima donna in the league (TO) to join the leagues biggest diva (Chad Johnson). With both of them in his ear he'll be deaf by the end of the season.

They're talented and but the both of them together could either be greatness or the entire team would want to kill themselves because of their attitudes.

Antonio Bryant hasn't fully recovered from his knee injury, which is the ONLY reason this will probably happen.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Antonio Bryant's surgically repaired was still a "problem" this offseason.

Mort suggests the health of Bryant's knee as "one factor to watch" in the Bengals' reported interest in Terrell Owens. Bryant underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee last August, and it continued to bother him off and on throughout the 2009 season. It was already a slight concern that he was "resting" the knee during offseason work, and Mort's report is cause for further pause. There's reason to believe Bryant's knee could be worse than the Bengals have let on.

    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
    • I dont think the clock has started yet on canales.  Once he gets his guy then the pressure starts.  WFNZ/mike kaye said  yesterday that he thinks there are 4 options here regardless of bryces status, Geno, Fields, Wilson maybe Jones.
