DJ will be better this year. Think about this , Miles Austin down in Dallas took four years to develop. This will be his fifth season. DJ will be Matt Moores got to guy even before Steve Smith. Thats right remember that I said so.

I really hope you're right. There are countless examples of players not coming close to their potential until a certain point, or number of years in the league.

Then again there are countless examples of players never reaching their potentials as well.

In my mind, it's a 50/50 chance. I like to think that Jarrett will either blow up like 2009 Sidney Rice, 2009 Miles Austin, or completely tank and we cut him. He could end up somewhere in between, but I think that would be the worst outcome as we'd have just a mediocre receiver opposite Smith and that just won't do when we have talented rookies waiting in the wings. If there's any year to just try out players regardless of the outcome, this is it.

I can believe it. Anytime DJ was on the field with Matt Moore, Moore always looked his way first because Steve Smith was always double covered. I'm still not convinced that he makes the roster though. If he does, then yeah, he'll be Moore's go to guy. If he doesn't make the roster, I have a feeling Charly Martin will somehow make the roster. But that's why there's training camp and the preseason.

I think allot of the issues DJ has had have been centered around maturity. It has been said countless times that the WR position is one of the hardest positions in the NFL. DJ's maturity issues in the past have undoubtedly held him back. But he has shown signs of brilliance. He knows he is in a do or die position with the organization but I also think he knew that at the end of last season and he was able to step up big time i.e. saints game.

Only time will tell but I think with Moore, a QB who throws to more then just #89, DJ will flourish this season and if we throw more will be a standout this season.

I won't say it'll be a 60 to 70 catch, 1,000 yard season... but i think he'll get more than 500 yards. maybe 50 catches. If he makes the team...
