you might want to change your tv from ESPN once in a while

thos are just Pauls wanted destinations

if he was a free agent, i could see your pessimistic attitude towards it

but the reason Charlotte was beat in the playoffs last year was because of Jameer Nelson, theres no getting around it. Felton got man-handled. Throw Paul in there and we take that series to 7 games

And he was comparing by position

Its all known that Jax gave Wade some problems

Wallace gave James serious problems.

I think Tyrus and the Oak Tree could handle Bosh easy, because we're not gonna need to worry about a center threat

and Paul destroys Chalmers any day of the week, month, and year

Charlotte could hold on with the Heat with that line-up. In case you've forgotten, Charlotte was 1st in the NBA in defense last year, and if you add one of the best defensive PG's, it just gets that much better.

I've already dismissed all of this, previously.

As for the "SOURCES" and "WHO'S IN THE RUNNING", Chris Paul is not a free agent. He's not the one who decides where he goes. The sources don't do anything but suck up to big name markets and players. Of course they aren't going to say Charlotte's in the running unless they hear from Paul that it is. If he wouldn't have mentioned NY or LA, the media STILL WOULD HAVE speculated about it. Not Charlotte.

If he ends up coming to Charlotte, which he may or may not, he'll realize after he gets here that he's in a place where he can contend RIGHT NOW.

LeBron James would have had a better chance of winning a Championship in Chicago than he will in Miami, at least just as good of a chance, because they wouldn't have ended up having any holes in their starting lineup.

Same thing if Paul and Okafor end up with the Bobcats without losing Jackson, Wallace, or Thomas.

He may not realize it, and he may not end up here, but that fact remains, regardless of what happens.

Oh I forgot the Carolina Huddle is so much more knowledgeable than ESPN, pardon me DeAngelo4MVP for failing to recognize your sincere friendship with Chris Paul. No your right he isn't a free agent but wouldn't you know that players who demand trades, also try to block ones they don't want? Wow shocker I know. and get this the Bobcats right now are a perennial low seeded playoff team. Chris Paul isn't going to vault us into the championship and thats what he said he wanted "A Championship".

By the way it is absolutely insane for you to even compare Wade to Jackson. Wade single-handedly won a championship, while Jackson did what against the Magic. Oh yeah thats right we got swept. And yes Paul is clearly better than Chalmers but what happens when we have to trade Wallace to get Paul (highly likely) and they put Wade on Paul and James on Jackson? Smart

And EC I am done having an argument with someone who can not even form complete thoughts. For example your finishing point is so artistically worded it made me completely change my position: Quote "He may not realize it, and he may not end up here, but that fact remains, regardless of what happens." Thank you for your astute insight.

He's not going anywhere other than Orlando and NY. He isn't trying to get out of NO for the heck of getting out of NO. He is trying to get out to:

A. Go to a bigger market (which Charlotte is not)

B. Go to a championship contender (Still not..even with Paul)

C. Go to a team willing to pair him with a few other superstars (Melo isn't leaving Denver for Charlotte I can guarantee that)

D. Go to a team willing to spend way over the luxury tax to bring in superstars (Jordan reportedly is not there with his willingness).

So in short...I'd love for CP3 to come back home and actually make something happen in Charlotte. But other than the fact that NO is a dump of a city and Charlotte is actually very nice...there is very little difference between the two teams right now. I expect him to be a Knick before the beginning of the season.

You do realize that Paul has ABSOLUTELY NO SAY in where he goes. If Charlotte is willing to package the best deal for him...and willing to accept that he may only be here for 2 years...then New Orleans could very well trade him here.

I never said I was smarter than ESPN or was bff's with CP3, all i'm saying is that you can't always believe what you hear on ESPN. They have as much knowledge as we do to be completely honest. And im not comparing Jackson to Wade. Im saying that Jackson can play solid defense on Wade.
