Bobcats Expected to Make Offer for Paul...

First off I'm not caught up in anything. Chris is the one demanding the trade and all the sources say the Cats aren't in the running. Look I like the Cats and Wallace is a great complement player, but are you serious? We got swept by the Magic who got killed by the Celtics. Yeah we beat the Heat and Cavs in the regular season but come on. Even if we did manage to get out of the east the Lakers would manhandle us in the finals. I'm sorry but the Bobcats are no where near having a championship caliber squad. To build a championship team you eventually have to draft well...the Bobcats blow at drafting. Even if we did land him he would leave after his two years to go somewhere else.

Oh and Bosh> Ty Thomas + Okafor .... Okafor is not that good and its a miracle we got rid of that contract.

James>>Paul

Wade>>>>>>>>Wallace- Not to mention we might have to trade Wallace and don't even try to compare Wade to Stephen "shoots way too much" Jackson

Thats what the "heck" I'm thinking. If your going to compare the Heat to us at least use the argument that we have a better all-around team. Comparing their best three players to our best three players is so stupid.

Like I said I'd be beyond pumped if the Bobcats landed Paul. He is my favorite player. But right now it is looking like he is going to go the Magic, Knicks or Blazers.

you might want to change your tv from ESPN once in a while

thos are just Pauls wanted destinations

if he was a free agent, i could see your pessimistic attitude towards it

but the reason Charlotte was beat in the playoffs last year was because of Jameer Nelson, theres no getting around it. Felton got man-handled. Throw Paul in there and we take that series to 7 games

And he was comparing by position

Its all known that Jax gave Wade some problems

Wallace gave James serious problems.

I think Tyrus and the Oak Tree could handle Bosh easy, because we're not gonna need to worry about a center threat

and Paul destroys Chalmers any day of the week, month, and year

Charlotte could hold on with the Heat with that line-up. In case you've forgotten, Charlotte was 1st in the NBA in defense last year, and if you add one of the best defensive PG's, it just gets that much better.

Tyrus might be fine, but Bosh has historically eaten Oke alive.

orlando and portland are small market teams in case you didn't know, as far as the lux tax jordan has said in a number of interviews he would be willing to go over the tax if it puts the team in place to compete for the top spots in the east(not just 5-8 seed) he is not willing to spend money just to be doing something(ala new york)

Portland and Orlando might not be big market teams but they have more of a following than Charlotte has ever had. The Rose Garden is a nutty place to play and he'd be playing with Brandon Roy (a superstar). Orlando is self explanatory...CP3 and Dwight Howard would pose a SERIOUS threat to he Heat in the East.

As far as the NY not being a champ. contender talks...Amare, CP3, and Carmelo, and Gallinari (a sure bet for at latest the next offseason) are a championship contender...period.

Bosh is going to have to do EVERYTHING for Miami at the PF/C positions.

Therefore, the Bobcats if they had Thomas and Okafor, would be more than enough to overcome the combination of Bosh and whoever, because none of their other guys will give them too much.

Miami will probably end up running Haslem at 4 and Bosh at the 5. That's a lineup I think would give the Bobcats more trouble inside, than Bosh at the 4 and someone else at center.

I'm not too concerned with Bosh at the 4 against Thomas, because the Heat will be weak at the 5, although they'll have size that could give the Bobcats trouble.

Tyrus Thomas' issue, as always, will be learning to PERFORM WELL CONSISTENTLY.

Then that makes Miami weak at the 5 spot offensively. Which would allow Oke and TT to double up on Bosh some to help slow him down.

Bosh will end up doing whatever it takes for them to win a game. If the coach determines that Haslem and Bosh is their best combination inside, it'll end up being that. I still expect them to play a lot of them together, along with Bosh and Ilgauskas, which they'll probably start.

Good thing Stephon Marbury is a fool.

wow, on a side note, it does look like he's having a blast playing in China.

CP3 would be great addition. I just cant see a trade with the Hornets and Paul that doesn't involve Jackson or Wallace. If we can avoid those 2 than I am all for it. I am huge fan of CP3. I think either him or Nash is the best PG in the L.

Jack can go if absolutely need be but please keep Crash!
