i kind of see what he means. there aren't very many badasses anymore, it's all about the 'everyman' being put into action situations. not in a Die Hard way, in a nerd way.

today's biggest action stars are Adrien Brody and Michael Cera, at a combined weight of 200lbs.

Christian Bale is a pretty solid action star. He's just also extremely diverse.

But again that's stepping away from the cliche.
