Matt Carrol

With Carroll back what kind of season can you expect out of him again? I personally see Larry utilizing him more than Vincent due to the fact we have Jax. Plus Carrol pretty much defines what a 6th man is, so I can see him playing a lot at the 2-3 positions knocking down daggers and giving us legitimate bench scoring.

And then you can plug him in at the 3, Gerald at the 2, and Livingston/DJ as the point and you have a legitimate bench, so if Larry can use his head and play chess with our revamped bench this season we will definitely improve this season, because while I always liked Matt and his game I equally/more-so hate his contract.

Remember at one point he was averaging 12 points and shoot above %40.00 at one time with us, being our 6th man he will definitely put up more.

The one thing that irritates me about LB is he doesn't utilize players to their fullest ability. But he can get the most out of certain players.

His system works, and he can teach fundamentals with the best of them. I just wish he was a little more flexible in putting the best 5 players on the floor in certain situations. Sometimes you gotta work with what you got, but it seems he completely freezes some players out of the rotation, and that's not good for the team in the long run.

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
