Steve Smith would be my favorite. John Riggins of long ago would also rank near the top.He was certainly an entertaining character as well as a good RB for the Redskins.Anyone remember "Riggo's Rangers"?

Johnny U.! He put up numbers in an era when QBs' did not have the protections, extra or othrwise, that they have now, and where the defense hadn't been penalized like it has been for the past 40 plus years.

After him, it's a toss up between Gale Sayers and Lenny Moore. Both were game breakers. Moore was probably the more versatile, he could kill you as either a WR or a RB. Sayers was overall more exciting, and I still think he is the greatest kick returner ever. Those guys played in the era where offense was not 'emphasised' via the rules as it is now, and has been for some time.
