CP3 wants out, Bobcats not on his " list"

So Chris Paul is basically about to do what LeBron just did, except he's NOT a free agent and is under contract. And yet no one on this board hates him or is saying he has no heart because he's giving up on the franchise that drafted him. No one's questioning his loyalty. Paul (like his contemporaries Bron & Bosh) realized they have no chance of winning on teams like the Hornets, Raptors, and Cavs and are pushing to go to bigger markets that have more $$$ and more visibility. I dont blame him at all, in fact I would encourage all NBA players to go for self and do whats best for them. Because at the end of the day, the fans and the media dont have loyalty to them.

You make several good points, but the fans make these guys lol.

It's not that he wants out, it's the people he's aligned himself to do it. He hired the World Wide Wes camp and yesterday they leaked this on the SAME day we hired a new GM. **** them. I hope we send him to Cleveland or Detroit.

CP is not a game changer....I would like for him to be a Bobcat but in this day and age of the NBA I think the Bobcats have done a decent job of trying to get better. Whatever he decides is cool with me but I don't really think he understands the money side of it. Just a thought.

Meh, the Hornets deserve it.

But I thought he would never leave New Orleans because he has a "pimp condo"

I didn't realize until last night how awful the hornets contract situation really is. I mean okafor, peja, posey all have bad contracts, songaila is there for 3 more years and there aren't any decent players there outside of CP3, West and Okafor and Collison. Id want out if I was Chris Paul as well. I mean honestly if you take Paul off that team they'd be really bad.
