What Roms can you guy get on the X? I cant even count how many are out for the Droid1 but Im just curious as to what is coming out for the X.

You didn't have to choose a slayer kernel for LFY?

Nope. I used the one click method to root and rom manager to install lfy 1.7. Then did the same for the update and a theme.

Another note. I've received my accessories from amazon. I got a sport arm band that is big enough for the x. It isn't perfect fit but it will work for getting out exercising. Also got the motorokr s305 blue tooth headphones. they are sweet. I just listened to aldo nova "fantasy" and it sounded great. Also did a test call with them and it was clear for me and the person I called.

Roughly 60 total for both and that's what the headphones cost through vzw. Actually maybe more.

I'm only going to 1100, but with SetCPU that's relative. May up it a bit later, just feel a noticeable difference in temp with no fan to cool it off like a desktop.

So, how exactly do I go about enabling wifi hot spot? I've tethered my phone to my computer but it routes me to a verizon page directing me to call to add the service... my understanding is my first gen Droid will broadcast the wireless connection for my computer to make use of. Am I incorrect? Anyone?

theres an app called wireless tether. in the market. also PDA net if you don't mind being plugged in.

I want wireless tether. does it matter if i get the one that says for root? or do i have to be rooted?

pretty sure you have to root. pdanet may work for you though.
