I have not figured out how to forward texts and/or save or email pictures someone texted me. Any ideas?

try the menu button when u get a pic..lol that should work and i dont even have a droid x

Get the Handcent app. Then just hold down the text/picture and a slew of options come up.

I originally got Handcent because you can set it to display colored LED indicator lights to let you know when you have new messages. It flashes green for email and blue for text. That way I don't have to check it randomly to see if I have any messages.

Biscuit, i would guess plugging it into a computer and copying pics into a folder on the hard drive or taking the memory card out and doing the same thing.

Thanx smart ass... I did have enough brains to try that one... when you click on the pic, it gives you no options to do anything at all...

Got Handcent CH, and I like it... but it does the same thing with the pics my wife texted me... you can view them, but not save or forward them???

Click and hold the picture then select "copy attached to SD Card."

I just tried it. It should work. Hold the actual text and not the picture and the Forward option appears, too.

Does nothing. If I click it, it gives me a little "i" at the bottom and if I click that, it just tells me the pic type and resolution???

Could it be how she sent it to me? She has a Devour, but it only runs Android 1.6

Go into handcent and look at the photo (without clicking on it to make it full screen) in the thread view from the text conversation and try it again.
