T.O. a Panther ?

Of all the receivers out there, I don't think anyone ever proposed that we sign T.O.

All this time, the answer to the Panthers' need for another receiver was staring us in the faces. Right in the damn faces!

Ever since televison has talked about T.O. needing a job people assume the Panthers are trying to pick him up. I think he could help us but then we take his unwanted bagage that he could bring with him. If TOs numbers were down because of bad Qb play last year then I would love to have him, If it was because he has lost his step then no I dont want the guy. Sure he is at the top of the list of dropped passes but you must also consider two things, he had a horrible qb that was throwing him passes and if your getting the ball thrown to you a lot because your the number one reciever then of course your going to have a lot more drops than players who get thrown to less its common sense. Last year he had 109 passes thrown to him, he caught 50% of them, 30% of them were first downs and he had nine dropped passes which he was tied for fourth in the league in. Heres the stats for wide recievers which include dropped passes. TO is tied at #4 on the list but there are plenty of great Wide recievers who are right around him so his dropped passes dont scare me..

I have no problem with it. The T.O from before is not the same as he used to be. So everybody thinking he'll destroy our team, stop panicking when he's mentioned

He'll be a solid number 2, a department we wont have to worry about, and a good blocker for out 2 headed monster

But we wont sign him. So oh well

I know this thread was prolly started as a joke. This has to be the worst week for how many ignorant threads can be posted in the same week.

That being said, I can't believe anybody who follows this team, would want TO, let alone think there is even the slimmest chance of him ever being a panther.

Signing T.O. goes against EVERYTHING the Owner has done this offseason ( i would say front office but it has been richardson pulling the strings.)

Doubt it happens--- If it does it is a desperation move on Foxs part....
