I started a thread a few weeks ago on this. The Oakland game the Panthers looked so inept and confused.

The offense didn't get its mojo back until the 2nd qrtr of the Falcons game. Nearly 3 weeks later.

The last 4 or 5 games the O was unstoppable.

I was also worried about the bye after what happened during the season. I hoped that giving some players the time to heal would make a difference though. It didn't.

Same D linemen were out to an equally explosive Saints team. AT THEIR place.

The bye in this case, was NOT as benefical for the Panthers as it was for other teams.

Yes Jake killed the Panthers. The bye DID have an effect. Again, if you can't see that you are blind.

I'm not saying it IS the reason for the loss. I didn't want a bye because the team was clicking. The routine would have been the same.
