MJ comments on Miami Big Three

For someone who loves LeBron and Cleveland so much you sure are very defensive about Kobe.

I like Lebron and i like Kobe. Not sure how pointing out all your flaws and how your wrong is being defensive. It's called being honest. You should try it sometime. I can not like someone and still give them their due. I go to Cleveland a lot so i like it. Oh no.

Him and his family knew he didnt have the heart or talent to carry a small market team by himself the way LeBron has the past 7 years. Thats why he and his agent had explicit discussions of us trading him to LA and LA only who had 4 all stars on their roster at the time. Without an all-star big man by his side, Kobe isnt good enough to get out of the 1st round, barely good enough to make the playoffs. This is proven. In 2005, the Lakers did not even make the playoffs, at the same time Pau Gasol managed to lead his Grizzlies to the playoffs. Kobe has 1, yes 1 MVP in his career. Less than Steve Nash, but his fans cant stop comparing him to the GOAT. Its a joke. LOL.

Pfffttt. Jordan was in the league 7 years before he won his first NBA Championship. He saw it through to the ultimate prize. The Chicago Bulls have never won an NBA Championship before or after Jordan. Small market, big market has little to do with it.

Kobe was in LA for 4 years before the first Championship run. Then labored 6 years before another team was assembled that had ability to win more titles.

The Lebron cut and run from Cleveland and the one hour special doesn't belong in the same class as Kobe and Jordan.

Oh, Lebron and Nash have all these MVP trophies. How many Championships again? 2005 was a good year by the way, Laker fans don't whine about it because it netted Andrew Bynum in the draft.

Incidentally look at the Lakers roster the season before Kobe came to LA: http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAL/1996.html

He'd probably have had a better roster to join in Charlotte.

Now Jerry West traded away Divac to Charlotte for Kobe in one of the greatest ass fuggings of all time. At that point the Lakers didn't even have a qualiy Center on their roster. The puzzle came together later with the signing of Shaq and other additions to the roster. You gotta get over this Kobe wanted to go to LA to win because of the team that was their. Hell, he barelly even played his first year.

So if Chris Paul comes to the Bobcats he's not a TRUE champion? Since he's abandoning the franchise that drafted him to join a better team? Shouldnt he be trying to get Gerald Wallace or a Carmelo to join him in NO, rather than bolt for Charlotte or NY? Or does that bullpoo only apply to the KING?

The Miami Heat were the best last year?

2009 Miami Heat 47-35, 3rd in the Southeast division, bounced out of 1st round for 4th year in a row.

Even our Bobcats beat them 3 times. LeBron isnt joining the Lakers or Celtics, he's joining a team that was worse than his. And when the Heat end up with the league's best record this season (while the Cavs dont make the playoffs) guess who is gonna be winning their 3rd straight MVP?

Regardless what you say, you cant deny that four of the best of all time have spoke out against LBJ and his "decision".

MJ, Magic, Bird and Barkley.

What a different story those 4 might be singing if they were drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers...or Clippers...

They would have still won titles. How do you think the Bulls were able to take Jordan 3rd overall?? It wasnt because they had a good record the year before.

Magic Johnson is getting a piece too:

"We didn't think about it 'cause that's not what we were about," Johnson said at Baruch College in New York, according to Bloomberg News. "From college, I was trying to figure out how to beat Larry Bird."

It was never a question in our mind because nobody has ever done that."

Clippers are in LA too, which is a big market, and people do go there to play even though they are always pooty.

Which proves in this day and age that no matter where your city and big media markets are, if your ownership and/or front office sucks you aren't winning poo.

See Knicks: New York.

I don't like how Lebron left the team or his decision to go be "robin" to wade's "batman", but Cleveland had 7 years to put a team in place to take the pressure off Lebron. Adding Jamison late last year was good, but to little to late and Bron Bron didnt wanna give it another chance with that team.

Chicago wasn't a dynasty before Jordan got there, but they weren't the Cavaliers or Clippers either as far as trying to build a winning NBA franchise year in and year out.

The Lakers and Boston...are well...the Lakers and Boston. Nuff said.

And Barkley? I guess if the team you were drafted by to be the man to follow up the legacy of Dr J and Moses Malone decides to trade you after you spit in the face of a fan, and then you bolt from Phoenix to go to Houston and ride Hakeem Olajuwon to a title, that's a different story or something.

No I think MJ, Bird and Magic comparing Lebron, Wade and Bosh to themselves is giving a little too much credit for that trio. They might all be great basketball players, but none of them are in league with any of them, except Barkley.

I guess the Bobcats did Adam Morrison foul by drafting him and trading him to the Lakers so he could aquire two rings for keeping Kobe's seat warm, instead of having him ride the pine to a championship for Charlotte.

Whatever, Lebron did what Lebron wanted to do. Not what Jordan wanted to do, or wanted him to do, or any of the rest.

Lebron is Lebron. He ain't Magic, Byrd or Jordan yet. And neither are Bosh and Wade.

But it does make for great butthurt. :D
