We would have to give up too much in my opinion.  Even if he was only a free agent I'd think twice about the money it would take.

Dropping from 8 to to 18 in the first and moving up from 57 to 50 is right around the value of a 2nd round pick.  

DK, even at 28 years old, is 100% worth that. Still get a top 20 player this year and lose zero picks.

This makes even more sense now that Seattle needs a QB. The Raiders will likely take a player we're coveting instead of Shedeur now. Moving back with Seattle for better draft capital and DK could be in play.

TBH, I would rather just get more top 90 picks from them for that swap.

We get far better than DK Metcf being added with competent drafting and more resources(I know, I know, we haven't seen any competent drafting in years).

I think that also depends on if Seattle opts to go free agency for a QB.

I will say, it would be a pretty strange move to deconstruct the offense like that in year two of a young HC.

A 2nd rounder is too much?

We’ve spent 2nd rounders on TMJ, Mingo and a 1st rounder on XL trying to find a guy that’s like DK. Given this organizations inability to draft WR’s they need to trade for one

We've been trying to draft DK Metcalf for 30 years, so now we're just going to trade for a 30 year old DK Metcalf.  Sounds like the most Panthers thing that has ever existed.

Any talks of a first or a swap of firsts is a sign of mental instability.  We don’t need him that bad to miss out on a top 10 pick.

He won't be 28 until NEXT December!
