CAn the Panthers Win with This Receiving group?

Recommended Posts

We knew he had speed and could run with the ball, but I don't think many knew how good a receiver he was going to be.

But the point is, none of these guys have played much, so imo its to early to make a blanket statement that they are not very talented.

Valid point, but I'd be willing to bet that this year's WR group won't be any worse than last year's. Moose was reliable but not explosive. Jarrett and Moore were irrelavent. Jarret and Moore will continue to be irrelavent, but Lafell and Edwards have the potential to be great.

I think with Moore under center you will see WRs and TEs look a lot better then they did last year. Really we were so handicapped by Jake last year it was not even funny. I mean we had our own version of Ryan Leaf under center last year.

It's not Delhome's fault that Jarrett runs horrible routes or that he got deactivated for Kenny Moore.

Neither Moore or Jarrett suddenly exploded with Moore throwing them the ball so it's not the QB's fault.

This is true. Both Moore and Jarrett did not impress me last year. One runs good routes but cant catch and the other cant run a route to save his life but can catch some badly thrown balls.

Who said that Jarrett was a fantasy stud? Or were you exaggerating?

no, hear-say dj had a break out year last year, when the fact was he only played one game that didnt mean jack to both sides and the only reason why he started was because smith broke his arm in new york

Both Moore and Jarrett caught most of the balls thrown their way. Of course, not many were thrown their way.

For comparison's sake, Kenny Moore had 12 passes thrown his way, with 6 caught and 0 drops. Jarrett had 30 passes thrown his way with 17 caught and 3 drops.
