You think Stern got involved or you think it was just too much to try and obtain??

I'd like to think that Stern didn't step in, but he is a meddling sonofabitch. And to be honest, it was/is going to be hard to pull a trade like that off. We're talking about two of the top ten players in the NBA with CP3 and 'Melo.

Oh I agree but the James the Aussie guy on there has a point about being able to strong arm for Melo once you have CP3. He said that we would in a sense force a team backed into a corner to give up a star. Melo has made it very obvious he wants to play with CP3 so once Charlotte had obtained CP3 it would just take Melo making enough noise to force his way to Charlotte. G-Dub is an attractive enough piece that the Denvers fans don't feel sodomized by their teams FO.....makes perfect sense in theory.....

dude, fug trading Wallace

If you wouldn't trade Wallace in a 4 part deal to end up with a starting rotation of CP3, Jax, Melo, TNT and Oakafor then you just aren't very smart.....Wallace is an amazing player don't get me wrong, I have said many times over the last two weeks I would kill to have him in L.A. next to Kobe but CP3, Melo and Jax with TNT and Oak for D is just too good to pass up.....

If you've read that proposal that MJ might still be able to pull off and you still say that, you're an idiot. MJ would pay for them and go into the luxury tax, and they're both Jordan brand guys. We'd have two of the top ten players in the NBA, three very solid pieces around them, and a pretty decent bench. We'd be instant contenders.

I love Wallace just as much as everyone else does, but if trading him makes us a better team, then so long Crash.

Amen to that, if there was an upgrade for Kobe that the Lakers could obtain by trading him I would be retiring my 24 jersey.....players never come before the betterment of the team....

It absolutely does, and there's still a part of me that is holding on to it working out. It probably won't happen though, and I hope MJ's other back-up plans are better than Ben fuggin' Gordon and Chris Wilcox.

They brought up a good point it could go down in reverse order....also one of the posters mentioned something that makes me believe without a shadow of a doubt this came close to happening or is close to happening....the poster said that when the Bobcats site was updated they made Jax front and center and the face of the site while taking G-Dub off of the main page completely....that in it's own seems like a organization preparing there fans for the guy being gone.....

I get it, I really do, I see the positive of it and realize that it is an amazing deal. I guess I would just need to become a fan of the team Crash is on, hehe, except for certain teams lol, but I would love to see the Bobcats kicking ass during the season and in the playoffs and bring home that title!

There is some talk of a big trade going on and there are some guys on ROF (Rufus On Fire) that have some inside sources and there is not a 100% guarantee of anyone involved but most believe it is for Chris Paul and Emeka Okafor.

Chris Paul isn't going anywhere!

It certainly was a dirty trade if the people at RoF are accurate....

FWIW even though I'm a die-hard Lakers fan and a lot of people in the basketball board don't enjoy what I have to say I wanted these monster deals to go down. It would have been great for the city of Charlotte and it's economy, and I would have gladly dropped money on season tickets to go watch CP3, Melo and Jax for 41+ games....

Get real. Jax remaining instead of Wallace makes it a joke of a deal.

Anyone who is ready to get rid of Wallace instead of Jackson is a fool.
