Bryan Rodney has signed a one-year/two-way contract with the Carolina Hurricanes. No financial terms were announced. Rodney had a goal and 11 points in 22 games with the Hurricanes last season, not too bad for a defenseman. Look for Rodney to fill the role of the sixth or seventh defenseman with Carolina next season.
