Bradshaw rips Clausen's throwing

What I meant by back in the day...when he started

Fair enough, that context from Bradshaw. I'm pretty sure these Quarterbacks will agree.

Tommy Maddox (He looked like a young kid lol)

Ryan Leaf

Akili Smith

Brady Quinn

A lot of the Quarterbacks that left College early, entered the pro's are mostly busts.

Michael Vick should of stayed an extra year at Virginia Tech and learned the morales of life.

Bradshaw threw 210 Ints to go along with those 212 Tds. His career Qb rating was a horrible 70.9. His completion percentage was also a horrible 51.9. He was on a team that had a great RB in Franco Harris and 2 great WRs in Lynn Swann and John Stallworth. Not to mention he had a great line and was on the same team as the best defenses in NFL history. He was the product of the guys around him. Like I said, one of the most overrated QBs in NFL history, if not THE most.

That's the NFL films I saw...those guys saying he had a great supporting cast at first, but then he came around.

Bradshaw also played in an era where the QB's and WR's weren't nearly as protected as they are today. I've seen that guy get knocked out cold, come out for a couple of plays, and then come back in and throw a TD pass. He probably suffered more concussions than Dan Morgan, but he still had to play. Personally, I have all the respect in the world for any of the QB's that played in that era, because I saw what they went through.

He gave his opinion, so what? If he's wrong, he will admit it later.

He wasn't a product of the guys around him, looked how he juked of players, ran into linebackers, evaded tacklers and throw touchdown passes.

Then you might as well say Roethlisberger is overrated, He's had probably the best steelers wide receiver ever Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes for a couple of seasons and probably imo going to be the best steelers wr ever mike wallace.

Reggie Wayne is overrated, Randy Moss is overrated, Jerry Rice is overrated. Rod Woodson is overrated.

There all overrated because they had great supporting casts.

Ward is the only one on the Steelers offense that has a slim chance of entering the hall of fame. Polamalu on the defense if he keeps playing the way he has for more years. Bradshaw was surrounded by hall of famers both on offense and defense. Then he was inducted only because he was the QB of the team despite that he sucked.

No. No HE should NOT be allowed on the list.

Because on offense they had Jerome Bettis, Willie Parker, Alan Faneca, Ben Roethlisberger, Heath Miller and a great defense, infact probably the fourth best of all time (behind the steelers, bears, eagles) in 2008 he was around a great supporting cast, including a hall of fame defensive co-ordinator, no he should not be allowed into the hall of fame, he is overrated.

Players in great supporting casts are overrated, Greg Lloyd is overated, Louis Lipps, Mel Blount, Joe Greene, Jack Lambert.

There all overated because the one next to them was a great player, therefore they were made to look better than what they were.

They should be removed from the hall of fame.

Lebeau's 4 #1st ranked defenses 50+ints in career, blounts rule changes, franco harris fumbles, bradshaws interceptions, are all overrated stats.

I'm sorry Bradshaw never threw 10 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in a playoff game, I'm sorry he threw 9 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in 4 super bowls and averaged 112.9 per game. I'm sorry he's the only Quarterback to ever have 6 rings, yes he has 6 rings, but of course since he's overrated i wonder how many he actually one when he wasn't overrated???.

This is right on the money. People need to calm down. He has a opinion and he will change it when proven wrong.

Im sorry you're not smart enough to distinguish between good and bad players.

You're ridiculous logic can work both ways. Mark Clayton should be in the hall of fame cause Dan Marino is. Ed Mccaffrey should be in there cause Elway is. Ernest Givens should also be in it cause Moon is. Thats the way you're logic goes because you cant tell the difference between whos good and whos bad. You're just naming names without looking at how they played. Btw, Ward has been on the Steelers before half of those players on your list.

I'm sorry good and bad players? Please run a list of all the Panthers great's and Steelers greats? Maybe compare our two rosters, I know what a good and bad player is.

I've seen my fair share of great players, I'm sorry to all the other Panthers fans I have disrespected with this post, but to say Bradshaw was overrated is just plain stupid and ignorant.

No you said Bradshaw was overrated because of allllllllllllll the interceptions he threw and his great supporting cast. What if Montana never threw to Rice and instead some crappy Quarterback, I bet there would be different results. If Mark Malone was drafted vise versa to Bradshaw, we wouldnt of won 4 super bowls.

Your contradicting yourself saying bradshaw was overrated due to great supporting cast, can be said about many greats.

No because Montana was actually great. Bradshaw only had 4 good seasons in his entire career. 2 of those were when the team had a losing record. Jake Delhomme's numbers own Bradshaw's. What does that tell you? Sorry but you have a great inability of telling the difference between great and bad players. Montana and Rice were great. Manning and Harrison were great. Bradshaw was terrible and Lynn Swann and Stallworth were great especially together. Testaverde and Carr were bad for us in '07 but Smitty still was good and got over 1,000 yards.

LMAO @ The Bradshaw hating, You do realise that it was a run team back in the run day and that Bradshaw wasn't required to put up 30 touchdowns a game, just manage the game and when he made the play, make it happen -- of which he did.

You can choose Manning or whoever the hell you want for your franchise But I'll stick with Bradshaw, whilst you have 1 super bowl trophy in your cabinent, we'll have plenty more.

Oh, John Elways must also be poo since he had a quarterback rating of 79.9, hardly the rating that would even get considered for the hall of fame, Id like to know why that hasnt come up yet, also Dan Marinos' 84 quarterback rating compared to Ben Roethlisbergers 91. Ben should be in the hall of fame then.

I don't even know why your putting Delhomme and Bradshaw into the same sentance LOL. I never saw Bradshaw throw five interceptions in a playoff game, but I did see some highlights of 5 touchdowns?

Anyway I'm giving up, your pointless babling of the hate will surely continue next post, when I walk into the Steelers lobby next time, I can look at the first four super bowls, smile and think to myself how fortunate we were to pick up Bradshaw, who was perfect for our franchise.

You think the Panthers ever were required to put up 30 TDs? I named Delhomme because he was in the same situation as you just said. Run first team. Yet he owns Bradshaw. Delhomme sure as hell doesn't deserve a hall of fame election, but Bradshaw got in. Nice to see you'll have nothing left to say after that. I like the Steelers franchise, but I know where most of the credit is due.
