That's pretty true but there can be exceptions.

The Steelers could move James Harrison to James Farriors position (the dude is great at tackling, he's as strong as an ox) and move timmons back to his original positon (outside).

It can work, Willis, hell he can play safety and probably Beason could play strong safety lol.

But I would stay put with where Beason is at. Beasons a top 3 middle linebacker, he will ball where ever he is at

Beason didn't become a name around the NFL until he switched.

Well he only played a few games his rookie season at OLB, then took over when Dan got hurt at middle, and never looked back.

I still think he'll be a phenomenal football player, and according to Panther propoganda, Meek's system is supposed to funnel the action to the Will's spot on the field anyways (supposedly part of the reason why TD had such a great season before he got hurt last year)

With that said, I have to agree with you.

Moving him is stupid.

And in the end, I don't think we will, Anderson is a fine OLB, leaving a large battle in camp for the Sam.

If we leave Beason at mike, I suspect that Williams will be at Will and either Connor or Anderson will be at Sam. if Connor plays Mike pretty well, then Beason will be moved to Will.

You dont understand our system very well then and I would not expect you too cause your a saints fan. Our current system was set up to flow all plays to the Will position and let that LB make the tackle. Guess who is the best tackler on the team at the moment...... Yup Jon Beason. He prob will keep his play calling duty's just play at the Will Position.

He said that they wanted him to play the will so he is going to play the will. They even had an entire segment about him moving there and beason told them the things he would be doing differently at his new position. I never doubted for a second that beason expects to play there when the season starts. To me he confirmed it...anyone else see anything different?
