Since the NBA season came to a close, there have been countless rumors surfacing all over the media and the Internet regarding free agency. Now that the "Big Three" have signed in Miami, things have simmered down a bit, but there's still a lot of signings to be made.

After acquiring all three of the top superstars on the market in Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James, the Miami Heat have been the topic of discussion. At first, many doubted whether or not Pat Riley would be able to assemble a solid supporting cast with the little money left over after the the big three signings.

However, it has turned out to be exactly the opposite—and this shouldn't be a surprise to those who know Riley well.

Over the past couple of days I've come across different sources regarding Tracy McGrady and the Heat. Apparently, the veteran is interested in joining Miami's "Super Team" for the veteran's minimum.

McGrady still lacks a championship ring, so it's no surprise that he, like many other veterans, is willing to settle for a minimum paycheck to join forces with the Heat trio.

McGrady would be good for the Heat because he would provide solid points coming off the bench. However, there are also huge questions surrounding his age and ability to stay healthy.

Long plagued by injuries, McGrady has always had difficulty finishing a season in good health. Over the past two seasons, he has played just 75 games.

His age and health also pose a question as to the style of play the Heat are looking for. While McGrady can add scoring off the bench, the Heat seem to be looking for more of a defensive player with the likes of Wade and LeBron around to handle the scoring load.

Playing tough defense can wear on a player's stamina and health, which goes back to the question as to whether or not McGrady is fit for this role at this point in his career.

It is well known that the Heat are going hard after both Matt Barnes and Raja Bell, hoping to land one of them. I personally feel those two are a much better fit for this Heat team than McGrady. Bell is a particularly good fit, since everyone has seen how well he can play defensively, and how well he has matched up with Kobe Bryant.

As a Heat fan I would be happy to land any of the three, although I personally feel Bell is the best fit, with Barnes next, and McGrady third.

But I must close with this, Heat fans. Whoever Riley signs, you can be comfortable with that decision. If they're good enough for Riley, that means they're good enough for Wade, Bosh, and LeBron.

And that's more than good enough for me.
