Chargers released Bosa

Recommended Posts

when he has been on the field, he has been good.  He will be overpaid.   Missed 5 games but had 34 pressures--and good vs run.  However, this is not shady acres--he is banged up for a 29 year old.  We need some young guy to be getting reps.image.thumb.png.c6aa1719b09f7adff9ec2e8352a7600c.png

Every once in a while a guy gets released just before his injury history clears up.  I think he's worth kicking the tires on.

Injury issues usually don't clear up as you're closing in on 30.

I'd be interested but he's probably going to get way overpaid based on past resume and name recognition.

He's basically been relegated to a rotational type defender for the past three years and missed a lot of time due to injury. If the contract reflects that... okay. Sure. But if we're counting on him being anything more than a rotational player who is almost certainly going to miss some games then we're probably expecting too much. Not sure why he'd sign that type of contract with us though when he could likely get one from a legit contender.

I'd rather old man Mack

I think the truth is not many of the more attractive free agents are going to be interested in us without a massive pile of money.

We are basically the Jets minus the massive attraction of the NY market

Well if we want someone younger that creates a lot of pressures and is good vs. run, there is a certain edge player from TA&M in the draft…
