Media should make Fox answer this question

He deserves 97% of the blame for not giving the team a chance to win.

Totally disagree. Sure his play was horrible, worst of his career. However, Fox gave up on the run after a fairly successful 1st quarter...... w/ one rush in the 2nd quarter. If Fox/Davidson stayed w/ what got them into the playoffs and our ground game.......Jake wouldn't have been slinging the ball up and risking turnovers. You don't throw picks when you pound the ball. Fox didn't try to pound the rock after the 1st. That is coaching and not putting your team in a position to take advantage of their strengths.

Also, we have a bad secondary. We have great secondary talent. I don't blame the players for letting Fitz torch them. Fitz is going to make some big plays like that one amazing catch. But again, coaching has them playing those lame zones allowing Fitz to slice and dice them......they can't pick and choose the formations/schemes they use......the coaching staff puts them into a scenario and they are forced to execute that scheme the best they can. We didn't put our guys in a position to make plays....that is why we got spanked. We didn't pound the rock and we didn't play man and double Fitz enough. Coaching.

I have been a huge defender of Jake, but I agree he deserves to be blamed for most of the loss last night. We should not have abandoned the run, to be sure, but an NFL quarterback should be able to pass successfully when the run isn't working.

Jake has looked good this season because of the run game, but when we have to rely on himand only him, things get ugly fast.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
