It's not his job to pick a QB so he's going to talk both of them up and let the coaches decide like a team captain should.

he was asked about both, and his response on Clausen was much more than Moore in my opinion

basically..

Peppers: talked about how we're going to have to fill the void. talked up his replacements. said he wishes Peppers the best.

Smitty: asked about what he thought about being injured. said Smith was a competitor and it was just a fluke injury. thinks he'll be fine for the regular season which is all that matters to him.

Moore:

-talked about how good he's been when he has had to take over(back in 2007, and late last year.) said he's the veteran and should get the job.

Clausen:

-said how smart he is, how he's not just going deep and is taking what the defense gives him(checkdowns, etc)

-how he throws a very catchable ball, accurate, etc

then was asked random questions about Soccer, uniforms, etc. nothing important there.

    • A lot of people think this draft is weak at QB--I think, after the first five picks of the first round, there are a ton of developmental QBs who could develop into the role--here is the psychology behind it--Bryce becomes the mentor--you can learn as much by teaching others than by being taught.   It also makes him a true leader.  But I think there are a few QB in this draft that might not be ready now, but in 2 years, could be NFL starting QBs--Howard, Rourke, Ewers, Milroe, Dart, etc.  Talk about a cheaper backup and one that could evolve into trade capital--or if Bryce can't find consistency-his replacement.  Round 3 will have some of these qbs--maybe early day 3.
    • hopefully he has the impact on the run game post surgeries that TD had on defense after his surgeries.
