What else are they going to say?

WhoooooHoooooo! More of the same in 09 baby. I look forward to seeing how many eggs the Panthers lay next year.

On a sidenote. I like Jake as a person and I think he will try to improve in the offseason but he has reached his ceiling. He cant read defenses, he stands in the pocket to long, he bitches about every call, and he plays like poo in big games.

If I remember correctly there were a couple "big games" that we had to win this season in order to even get to to the playoffs. Jake got the job done then. He had an unfortunate night, but solid season overall. Jakes performance this season hardly warrants him being released from the team...

Jake had 4 or 5 games this season where we won in spite of him. We're rapidly getting to the point where we need to gameplan around our own QB, which is hilarious.

Good.

Now can this stuff stop?

As long as he's the quarterback, he has a fan in me and i support him.

And me as well. For those who won't support him, please rewind your VHS to the 2007 seaon. Then press play.

That's what I thought.

In the end though, we do need to be drafting a QB early in the draft. Between that player and Moore, hopefully we can develop a young QB to take over, when ready.

Can we sign some of those guys for recievers?

Yeah, I mean they know him so well.

Jake isn't going to get any better, our offense needs someone who won't jeopardize us like that. If he was this mediocre this season, what can we expect when we play the division winners and the NFC and AFC east?

We need to start answering the question of who is the future. That starts with seeing what Moore can do.

Yeah, it's hard to find a QB three-games into the season when your back-up sucks ass. But surely in the off-season we could find a QB that does better than turn the ball over 6 times in a playoff game.

You mean, one of those free agents that will be available from teams who DIDN'T make the playoffs?

No thanks.

Its not as though Peyton, Carson, Drew and Philip are going on the market!

Yeah, we had bad QBs that year, which means we can never ever get rid of Jake. Once he retires, as no other QB can play in our magic system, we're truly fuged.
