Yahoo! Lineback Rankings: Panthers, 23rd

they ranked us 3rd lol, behind AP and Gerhart, AND CJ by himself. wow...talk about a dumbass.

He also said the need for depth would explain the rankings particularly at the top:conf:. So he puts two teams who got rid of their #2 backs at the top.

Either he thinks that the combo of Williams/Stewart is worse than AP/Gehart and Chris Johnson.

Or even worse he thinks the combo of Williams/Stewart is around 10th or so, but the good depth bumps them up higher.

One reason he puts us at #3 is because we wern't all that effective. But the Titans went 8-8 too, therefore Chris Johnson is Barry Sanders!!!

This guy also put the Browns at #32, why? Because they're the browns.

This guys ignorance offends me. It offended me so much I made my own list which I think is much better.

if williams comes in he is playing wlb..not mlb..Putting beason back in his original position.

Ah I see. I think Connor could hold his own at MLB, I'd rather him cover fullbacks than slot receivers. His strengths are his instincts and intelligence which helps him at MLB.

Williams could end up being a steal, I've just see so little of him. I would rather have Beason back at MLB but I just gotta see it first.

if Beason starts MLB, Jamar should start WLB, and Norwood should star SLB.

i was thinking the same thing. i think people will see during camp and preseason that norwood can defend the pass and crush the run. he is fast as hell and with beason in the middle we will be solid.

In regards to his write-up. He is totally wrong about Davis. Davis had he not signed his tender would have made 110% of his 2009 salary which was 2,200,000. So if he had not signed his tender he would have made 2,420,000. By signing his tender he made instead 3,268,000. So tell me why you wouldn't sign it??? In fact possibly of reinjury is the main reason he likely signed his tender.

Cole doesn't have a clue what he is talking about above just like he doesn't regarding our linebackers.

Beason alone would rank higher than 23rd. Even if he were considering Connors and Anderson alone we should be in the top 15. When you add Williams and Norwood to the group it should improve our ranking not hurt it.
