Bobcats close to trading Diaw, Chandler, aquiring Calderon

A.J. has knee problems. All I am saying is, it is more likely the Cats sign a center than trade for one because if they trade Evans then they are slim at PF.

And still has played in more games than Nazr over the past few years. And unless you're willing to take a big risk on somebody with the MLE, there's not a starting-quality center left in free agency.

We could actually afford someone better than Theo since we got rid of TC and Boris.

I was thinking maybe Brad Miller or Louis Amundson.

Miller could be a good filler for an injury prone center. The only issue is that the Celtics are currently pursuing him...or at least were

Actually Naz can start, any time he started last year he produced.

He actually outplayed Jefferson when the Bobcats beat them 93-92

Jefferson had

points- 19

rebounds- 10

blocks- 2

assists- 1

steals- 0

Mohammed had

points- 21 +

rebounds- 20 +

blocks- 1 -

assists- 1 =

steals- 2 +

I just don't feel comfortable with Diop being the primary backup.

AJ doesn't play defense. He doesn't hustle on the defensive side. He isn't a winner. This can all be seen from his numbers where Nazr Mohammed put up a 20/20 on his sorry ass.

You must ask why Minny is trying to dump him so much and why Nazr was able to dominate him?

Say NO to AJ.

I think they signed Jermaine O'Neal so they may not need him anymore.

Yup, O'Neal is going to fill in for Perkins. But still, a big UGH for Brad Miller. The guy can't rebound to save his life anymore and had a .430 FG%, pretty bad for a big man.

But we need more scoring and he'll definitely bring close to 20 each night. I'll take 10 boards and 2 blocks though. Defense wasn't our issue last year, it was production and more places to find points at.

I would take A.J. because Brown can turn anyone into a defensive player and if he is going to try and do it with Calderon he may as well try and do it with A.J. but I don't think they are goint to want to trade Reggie Evans.

Yeah, I didn't realize how much he's dropped off. Too bad, he was pretty good with the Pacers & Kings back in the day
