Matt Moore gets Hurt and Jimmy has to play out the season.... What Happens?

We have the luxury of developing Clausen and not risking Ryan Leaf/Tim Couch/Joey Harrington/Jamarcus Russell/David Carr/ etc. etc. syndrome.

Jimmy Clausen does not have anger management issues, a lack of passion for the game, substance abuse issues, lack of work ethic, the ability to eat himself to the size of an offensive lineman, nor will he play behind a pourous offensive line.

Well if Hunter is our #2, and they're high on him as they say they are, Clausen doesn't see the field...which makes me oh so happy they spent two picks on QBs. They are the ones that salivate over Cantwell too. Makes no sense.

Unless Davidson decides to get cute, and assuming the line and our backs stay healthy, Clausen will play as well as Matt Ryan did his rookie year. We shouldn't have too many issues on offense this year regardless of our QB.

claussen would be fine. we need to see what he's got, even if moore is healthy. i think it is very important, that at some point this season, we see what jimmy can do whether or not matt gets hurt. knowing what we have in claussen will be an important factor on whether or not we resign matt moore, and if we do, how much money he gets.

i think claussen will be just fine. at least no worse than what moore brings to the table.

I don't agree. If Moore is playing the way he did towards the end of last season, Clausen should be on the bench. If Moore struggles, then maybe we should see what the others have got.
