It is no doubt a far superior album to Self Titled. I don't really know what they were thinking when they released that album. It was just an overall disappointment. It's nice to see them back to form.

Yea, it was a good tribute to his memory. A lot of the songs he was the primary writer, but most of the songs were written by the remaining members in tribute. They did well.

Well it appears that I don't have much in common with most of the posters in this thread when it comes to music, but hey, whateva.

The new Arcade Fire album came out this week - The Suburbs. It's excellent. Been listening to that most of the day.

Other than that, the new album from The National - High Violet - has been playing nonstop through my stereo recently.
