Derek Fisher will meet with Pat Riley...

I'm not discounting Fisher's leadership abilities, which are great when we're talking about the chemistry of a team. And teams with good chemistry play better. But the simple fact of the matter is that when we break things down to a measurable quality - on the court production - Felton is the superior player. You can say that you'd rather have Fisher because of his leadership and "clutchness" and I won't argue with you, but numbers don't lie.

Yes I agree Felton has better stats, but what I'm arguing is that numbers don't tell the whole story. If you wanted to win a title and you had to choose Felton or Fisher for your PG I would take Fish 10 times over. I have a feeling most NBA front offices would to.....Fish is the better player for what he brings other then points and assists.....

And I'm going to respectfully disagree. Stats are a measure of production and more/better production = more wins. When faced with the question of who I want on my team, I want the most productive players possible. Of course there are other factors that come into play like personalities and leadership, but as a general rule, I'm taking the more productive player.

And I'll go with the five rings and the countless clutch shots to win games.....but we can agree to disagree.....

We will agree to disagree, but how many of those five rings does he win without Kobe, Shaq, and Gasol? Championships are a measure of team success, not of individual performance.

I agree, and Fish was a vital part of at least 2 of those rings.....especially this years championship, without Fish's play in game 3 and game 7 of the Celtics series there's no chance for a three-peat next year.....

Fisher's only potentially doing what half the Laker fanbase will be doing in the next few years. Hopping on the wagon in South Beach.

Used to be ambivalent towards the Heat. D Wade is a proven player in the NBA and have always admired Pat Riley for his accomplishments. Old time Knick/Heat playoff battles were the bomb. Lakers/Showtime days were epic.

Now this whole Lebron one hour special I'm going to Miami after Wade and Bosch sign up have left a bad taste. The Heat is now my most hated team, joined by most of America I imagine. Go Celtics, my new favorite team until they're up against the Lakers in the Finals.
