Let's say you're Jerry Richardson or Michael Jordan pitching Charlotte to a superstar

Every year since 1980 and only huge market teams have won. Are you saying that's pure coincidence and that the best front office teams are always located in the just 6 cities (Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Detroit, San Antonio) that have combined to win 28 of the past 30 NBA championships...all of which are huge market teams?

That's funny, I don't see by far the biggest media market in the US on that list anywhere. Surely the Los Angeles listings involve both of the teams in the market, right? How come I don't see Dallas, or Golden State/Oakland in that list since they rank 5th and 6th?

And "large market San Antonio" which ranks 37th in terms of television households (10 spots below Charlotte) has how many other pro teams?

I guess playing for Jordan might be attractive to big name players that grew up watching him. The bottom line is if you want to be appealing to play for you have to win. Do you think the Clippers attract people because they are in L.A.????

Help me out: Who has been the best free agent signing in Charlotte sports history? Not in terms of how they played once they got here, but more like who the most high profile free agent signing was.

Big name players rarely change teams they are usually locked up by theyre team long term, big name player think about one thing and one thing only in the NFL and that's money fat Albert, and Peppers are both great examples of this.

The NFL isn't the NBA, while yeah you don't want to go to let's say Detroit or Oakland but we don't have the same salary cap structure as the NBA where the contract itself is limited as to how big it can be. And because of that outside of $$ the rest is more irrelevent in the NFL.
