What the hell are turn signals for anyway?

I mean, most people don't use them... or if they do, they use them incorrectly.

What's the point of moving over into the turn lane, then 2/3 of the way down the lane, turning your signal on... by then, we all know you're turning.

The number of imbecile drivers is incredible... :mad2:

Agree...

but if you have to constantly drive in traffic like me, you'll find that when you turn on your signal to merge into a different lane it gives the car lagging behind a real incentive to punch it and cut you off just because you had the nerve to change lanes.

That's why I usually don't bother in traffic...

And if there's a huge gap and the a-hole REALLY floors it to cut me off...I pull a g5jamz duckfake. That's where you just act like you never saw the car and start merging over real fast. That car knows you're there...your intent...and when they see you just coming over real fast...9 times out of 10 they hit the brakes. When they do...I just go right back over in front of them before they can punch the gas again. Works really good in a van because the top heavy shake REAAAALLLY freaks them out.

A man after my own heart. Seriously, the last few days people have pissed me off more than usual by not using their damn turn signals. And often times, had they used them, I could have gone instead of waiting for them to slowly creep in front of me. These people are almost always on their cell phones.

I swear, I'm going to go batshit crazy on someone one of these days. I've also had a lot of people tailgating me lately.

I'm so anal, I use my turn signals in a parking lot! I swear to God, that on most models of cars in the South, turn signals are an option!

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
