The game I saw last night!

General rule of thumb: commentators suck and the analysts don't predict hardly ANYTHING (important) right.

And yeah, I noticed that at least one of the kickoff returns by the Panthers was done from the goal-line. I was "wtfing" the entire time, considering Jones is a beast on returns.

I've wondered from the time Davidson was hired why so many fans were so excited. Isn't Davidson an ex-lineman? How do you make an ex-lineman the architect of your offense? I think the offensive co-ordinator should be someone whose entire football experience was focused on moving the football into the end zone, not on knocking somebody down. Ex-linemen should be line coaches.

I was on here about 2 weeks ago and bad mouthed this guy after confusing/comparing him with DAN HENNING & people here let me have it. JEFF abandoned the original PANTHER gameplan and tried 2 get cute lastnight and the past 2 weeks by trying 2 convert us into a passing team....with FAKE GOHOMME as quarterback..and we ( and the entire world ) saw the humiliating outcome.

I dont have a problem with Davidson being a lineman, if you can get 11 guys to get 10 yards every three downs i dont care if its peewee herman. Most people think, and i tend to agree, Foxy has his ass sitting on the back of Davidsons neck. Like to truely know what Davidson can do if he is unrestrained but I doubt we will ever know...

Just read Scott Says... and he said The game reminded me a whole lot of sitting in the press box at Seattle for the NFC Championship game in the 2005 season. Carrying on my previous post, it's a comment like this from someone who knows better that also makes me angry.

Reminded you a lot of the Seattle NFCC game? No, it doesn't.

That game, we were lucky to be there. That season we were plagued by injuries and some incredible "omg, we should never have won that game" type of situations. Seattle had been dominate throughout their season and in their playoff game the week before. No matter who went into Seattle that week was going to have a tough time.

We ended up being the ones going in, but I don't know anyone who felt like we had a legitimate chance of winning that game. I watched, I cheered, I saw the loss coming. But while disappointing that we didn't win, I knew going in that it was a long shot so I was just happy to be there. I had no expectation of coming out of that game a winner.

Last night's game was different. We should have won that game. We had good reason to believe that we would.

Or at least, if we were destined to lose the game, we should have been competitive in it.

But we weren't.

I'm angry.
