Bobcats in trade talks for Beasley

Oh Man I hope MJ can pull this off. Getting Beasley would be great. He has the ability to be an All Star if he plays hard. Maybe too much like Derrick Coleman but Charlotte's only way to get a great player is to take a few risks.

do ya'll think we want him, or want him for trade bait? We are stacked at PF, we get Beasley and ship him off with someone to upgrade the PG or C position. This seems most logical to me. Id take TT over beasley's "potential."

I think we want him. Its not like Beasley is all potential, he was miscast as a SF in Miami and still put up good numbers, especially per 36min. I think Larry Brown gets a kick out of coaching the "problem children" of the NBA and with the Nets supposedly interested in Felton and Thomas, I think there's a good chance we end up with Devin Harris. I know everybody loves Tyrus Thomas, but if we get Beasley and can get a legitimate PG for him, then Thomas is out the door.

What part of AL JEFFERSON don't these jackasses understand?

Does Beasley mean they no longer want Tyrus Thomas because Beasley adds NOTHING.

Add MINNESOTA to the trade, and send Beasley to Houston and Jefferson to Charlotte.

The Minny bloggers always make fun of Jefferson. No defense Al Jefferson = no!!!!! Heck I don't want Beasley, but I'd take him over Jefferson. I'd rather keep TT on a 5 or 6 year deal.

Al Jefferson 0.93 - that's his Points given up per Poss against the player he's guarding. On another note - that was one of the worst in the league by a PF or C. like 4th from the bottom.

His Offensive efficiency isn't all that great either, he scores points but isn't that great of a shooter and doesn't have a whole lot of touch around the basket. Doesn't get to the line much either....which with his athleticism shouldn't be the case.

Like I said though it isn't always about the numbers.

Why do you think Jefferson is so great?? To anyone who follows the NBA in a hardcore fasion, like I do, he isnt a great player, he is pretty much average. You act like he is Kareem times ten, its really embarrassing for you to keep pimping this guy who has done NOTHING in the nba.

Beasley has super amounts of potential and under LB and MF could turn into a superstar. I guess to you that means nothing??

    • Tua has maybe 2 passes further than 5 yards.
    • I'd give the rookie WR's more credit than that. Bryce did actually earn most his yards against the Chiefs, but that Saints game was all rookie WR's yac. It was probably like 80ish of the 170 total passing yards were yac by JT and Coker. The throws have been accurate though and he's obviously playing with more confidence. I still want to see something over 40 yards in the air at some point that looks good/accurate
    • We’ll agree to disagree.  Maybe change my wording to better roster would have been more accurate. Gamecocks have some nice defensive players….but they are also thinner than Clemson all around.  it’s at Clemson.  Dabo.  Better overall roster.  And they are favored slightly….which essentially supports my prior post that either could win but if you had to pick without a dog in the race Clemson is the smarter pick.   straight up vs Carolina? I trust Clemson’s O more than Carolina’s.    Top 10 vs top 60 with the QB edge.  And Clemson’s D has some real studs on it too.   Which is what Vegas says.   I’ll make my pick game day.  Will depend on who can and can’t suit up for Clemson.  Carolina has been much healthier this year.  But ST could be the difference.  That Louisville game exposed some massive flaws in their kick game.  You don’t really want ST weakness showing itself vs Beamer
