I felt the same way. I would have loved and cherished our baby just the same if it were a girl, but I'm really excited to have a boy on the way. Besides, it'll be cool to have an older brother if we do have a girl later on.

how did i miss this earlier? congrats and so much sage thrown at you there isn't much else to say.

just don't try to be dr.phil with your wife and limit the # of books you buy. similar to books on investing, so many make a great case for and against something.

cozy up with a family or parent that you like the way their kids are turning/turned out and soak up all you can from them.

Congrats man! Boys are awesome. Word of advice, don't do the "baby talk". Talk to him as a normal person, even as before he can talk. It will affect their speech as toddlers and on into school.

congrats Beaux. how far along is she? i ask cuz i am anxious to find out what mine is. I've read that the earliest you would be able to tell is 16 weeks, and most DRs wait until 18 weeks to determine.

So, three months later and we just found out it's a boy!

We had a bit of a scare when we went for an ultrasound Tuesday, so we had to go to do a Level 2 ultrasound today. Without getting into details, the doctor reassured us that he thinks everything looks good right now.

I am very thankful that my baby's doing well right now. Hearing two days ago that might not be the case was one of the worst feelings in the world.

Just very happy right now. :cheers2:
